Fishing Bait
There has been much written about baits for catching coarse fish, and I think that it fair to say that almost anything can and does get taken by fish. The trouble I have is which of these baits should I be using to give myself a reasonably good chance of catching. Do I stick with what I shall describe as traditional baits, or should I get into the newer much more technical baits with special formulations etc. Trying to keep everything simple makes me feel more comfortable using the more tradional offering which I have listed to the left.
I use paste a lot and the mix is Richwoth 50/50 with just one egg and whatever flavouring or colouring you are into. I am going to use just a single flavouring in low dosage levels for all of my paste, maggots, and groundbait this coming year, with the hope that over a period of time the fish will become accustomed to it.
